i am a Board-Certified expert psychopharmacologist with nearly thirty years' experience diagnosing and treating adolescents and adults in a wide variety of clinical settings, including emergency rooms, general and psychiatric hospitals, clinics, nursing homes and other residential settings, and most recently, online telehealth services throughout the state of texas.
i specialize in the identification, classification and treatment of clinically-relevant emotional and behavioral symptoms in adults, symptoms which lead to functional impairment and/or a markedly diminished quality of life. I have conducted thousands of comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and i have performed countless FOLLOW-UP assessments. I also have significant teaching and training experience.
Although i also have considerable experience evaluating and treating adolescent patients in both ambulatory and acute care settings, I am not board-certified in child & adolescent psychiatry.
